Full-time: Front Desk Receptionist (Sacramento/Citrus Heights, CA)
Job description
The Front Desk customer service representative will work in our Sacramento Area Citrus Heights location helping to provide patient care and customer service. The candidate will work with medical and financial information and must display a high degree of honesty and dependability. The position requires a resourceful individual with initiative, excellent customer care skills, office environment proficiency and teamwork abilities to get the job done. Experience in the medical field/office is a plus
Responsibilities:
Greet new and existing patients in a delightful manner
Check patients in and direct toward set up room
Answer incoming calls
Insurance verification on new orders or re-authorizations
Respond to emails, voicemails and faxes
Request prescriptions and qualifying documents from accounts
Communicate information about CPAP therapy, machines, and supplies
Package and ship items via UPS / USPS
Schedule appointments and follow ups
Prepare and print appointment documents
Create private pay and insurance sales orders
Handle cash and credit card transactions
Document all patient contact utilizing data systems
Adhere to compliance under insurance standards
Organize and restock supply closet and check in new equipment
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate is a quick learner and will have excellent customer care aptitudes, with a professional conduct, who has strong communication and organizational skills and is a dependable team player. Minimum qualifications include + 1 year of customer service experience. Full-time: CPAP Technician - Sleep Specialist - DME (Sacramento/Citrus Heights, CA)
Job description
The CPAP Technician will work with clinical and administrative employees to program sleep apnea devices and distribute related medical equipment. The candidate will work with medical and financial information and must display a high degree of honesty and dependability. The position requires a resourceful individual with excellent customer service skills, patient care experience, office environment proficiency and teamwork abilities to get the job done. Experience in the medical field is a plus. Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred.
Qualifications :
Detailed oriented, quick learner, excellent customer care aptitude with professional conduct. We are looking for a personable Technician with strong communication and organizational skills. Minimum qualifications include, one year customer services experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office and general office applications.
Responsibilities:
Dispense medical equipment according to Physician's prescription(s) (Training will be provided)
Teach Patient proper use and comfort techniques
Carefully adhered to Physician’s orders, NPSG, Joint Commission standards and HIPAA regulations
Communicate with Doctor's office and medical staff
Inspected, clean, test and maintained respiratory therapy equipment to ensure equipment is functioning safely and efficiently.
Set equipment controls to regulate the flow of oxygen, positive air way pressure.
Distribute breathing equipment such as oxygen concentrators, portable oxygen, CPAP, AUTO CPAP, BIPAP to patients.
Answered clinical questions regarding patient’s equipment.
Sleep coaching on equipment
Resolve clinical problems.
